Not your usual cabaret, The Late Night Buffet is a chaotic and colourful variety show bursting with your favourite comedy, circus and burlesque entertainment jam packed in a one and a half hour gameshow.
The most fun you will have had all year The Late Night Buffet serves some of Australia’s top performers, each month offering brand new acts.
Created by Australia’s Burlesque Entertainer of the Year Natalya Alessi of Plastik Soup and hosted at the one and only Vanguard.

MEET THE CAST
BUNNI LAMBADA
Bunni Lambada is a tour de force in Australia's neo burlesque scene and is one of Sydney's favourite showgirls. As well as touring the country as an Australian Burlesque Festival Tour Headliner in 2018, Bunni has been a resident performer at a number of Sydney's favourite burlesque venues, and has performed in sold out burlesque shows around the world, including in the USA and Europe. Bunni is widely known for her glamorous, comedic, and quirky performances, and she is delighted to be performing for the first time on the Late Night Buffet stage.
DANNI HOCKING
Danni has been working as a professional dancer since 2002. She achieved her Associate Degree in Dance & a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance Performance) at Queensland University of Technology. She worked at Expressions Dance Company & performed in numerous works with Claire Marshall & dancers.
Danni continued to pursue her passion for dance in London. During this time she regularly worked in film & TV & performed at the Royal Albert Hall. She has performed for Ministry of Sound, Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse, 50cent & had a lead role in a Justin Timberlake music video.
Danni then moved to the USA for 2 years performing solos & pas de deux in production shows with dancers & singers from all over the world. She performed as part of Miss World Productions.
Since returning to Australia she continues to perform in modelling & sell out Burlesque shows throughout Australia. She has been an original cast member and toured Australia with shows such as “The Empire Strips Back”, “Jaded Vanities”, “Batman Follies of 1929”, “Dames of Thrones” as well as numerous corporate shows and events for Plastik Soup
.
DANNY GOLDING
Growing up in Broken Hill NSW, Danny embraced
dancing as much as he could in a small town before making the decision to relocate to began studies at Newtown High School of Performing Arts. He completed his bachelor in dance performance at the Adelaide Centre of Arts and in 2005 he commenced work with the Australian Dance Theatre under esteemed choreographer, Garry Stewart. This was a dream come
true for Danny, who worked with the company for two years, touring extensively internationally. In 2008, he began working with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and performed in the inaugural productions on both the Independence and Oasis Of The Seas.
In 2009 Danny earned a place in Australia's So You Think You Can Dance, and successfully competed making Top 12. After dancing for many years, Danny then decided to study circus and in 2011 he was accepted into The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA). He graduated in 2013,
specialising in both aerials and pole. During his studies at NICA, he worked with The Production Company in Chess the musical directed by Gale Edwards. He also appeared on Australia’s Dancing With The Stars, and was featured on ABC Network’s Adam Hills On Gordon Street. He also
appeared on Everybody Dance Now for Network Ten with the all male review Boylesque, and was a semi-finalist on Australia’s Got Talent with the acrobatic troupe Circotic. He directed his own original cabaret, Les Femmes and the Male Minority for a season at Melbourne's Red Bennies. Danny was also selected to represent NICA at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain to perform in the opening showcase.
After graduating in 2014, Danny commenced work with artistic director Neil Goldberg for Cirque Dreams. He performed in the US tour of Holidaze, and Jungle Fantasy for Norwegian Cruise Lines, where he was appointed the role of Company
Manager.
Since returning to Australia in 2016, he has performed in Spiegelesque under the Spiegel
Zelt directed by Wayne Scott Kermond and the
Kermond Creative. He also performed in the
Cabaret Cathedral's production of Razzle Dazzle,
choreographed and directed by Jason Coleman. He was awarded ‘Best Male Performer’ by the
Australian Aerial Awards in 2016. As well as
performing at corporate events across Australia;
with various artists including Jean Paul Gaultier for his exhibit at the National Gallery of Victoria. Other artists include Sam Sparrow, Luciana, Ricki Lee Coulter, Darren Hayes, Rozalla, and Anthony Callea. He also performed aerial silks beside Rudimental at The Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix for Heineken.
In recent years Danny has dedicated himself to coaching pole dance in studio across Australia, he is largely recognised in the arts community as a highly skilled entertainer. Most recently he was invited to compete and showcase pole dance for
Germany’s Das Supertalent.
JERRY HATRICKS
Jerry Hatricks, the mischievous showman, has been tramping the boards for over a
decade. His addiction to the curly, quirky and ridiculous has led him to be one of Sydney’s
most recognisable if slightly odd, vaudevillian performers. After being dangerously cooped
inside over 2020, he is exploding out to bring his devilish tricks and love of latex to the stage.
MEMPHIS MAE
Fast, Feisty and eager to please, Burlesque Powerhouse and Perverse Engineer, Memphis Mae takes to the stage with energy bursting at the seems. Memphis Mae is breaking boundaries and pushing audiences out of their comfort zones to bring a new level of interactive burlesque and MCing. Memphis fits a 2 hours production into a 5 minute show and it larger than life, you have to see it to believe it.
NATALYA ALESSI
Hot off the heels from touring the USA and Canada with The Empire Strips Back, and recently performing with Sukki Singapora in Japan, Natalya Alessi is no stranger to the stage.
As Creative Director of Plastik Soup Natalya produces various entertainment around Sydney including The Bower and Late Night Buffet.
Upon graduating from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Natalya began her professional career dancing for various companies including Chrissie Parrott Contemporary Dance Company, The Ninth Floor Performance Company, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Sea, and The Venetian Macau.
On returning to Australia Natalya began performing burlesque where she has enjoyed the stage of many regular cabaret and variety shows as well as national and international tours and various festival seasons.
Natalya was recently awarded Miss Burlesque Australia 2019 'Entertainer of the Year'.
